Re: baot battery placment question

As a general rule you will want to try and have cg around 30-35% of the halls length measured from the transom. So on your 26 inch hull try to balance it around 8 inches from the transom when holding the boat with 1 finger on either side of the hull.
Hope this helps.

Re: baot battery placment question

trial and error, what works for 1 doesn't always work for another.the 1 battery was in the middle of the hull?? are you putting 1 battery now in each sponson? it flipped over / end over end or flipped on it's side?in straight away or on a turn ?or did it flip backwards [got airborn]? need more info.

baot battery placment question

ok i have a 26 inch lite hawk challenger rc boat and iam now running 2 3s battery's tied in parallel so i can keep with in my 3s but double everything else right now they are one on each side of the hull and at top speed it flipped on me also it seems to be plowing a bit to , right now the stock set up for 1 battery is half way toward the front of the hull so i need to know where is the best place to put the batterty's

I should also mention this boat is a Cat not a V hull
