I've never used a covering on these ACE R/C molded wings but did reinfore them by sticking a band of filament (fiberglass strand?) tape at the wing thickness high point and circling both the top and bottom of the wing.

I am building an original Ace whizard kit. Planing to put a cox .049 black widow on it with 2 channels. I'm almost ready to cover but kinda concerned about melting the foam. I guess I will find out soon if I'm going to make a wood wing for it or not.
