I agree the charger/balancers are the best but the instructions are not great. I am finally getting the hang of it by using , using , using and using it some more. I also find that if I am having a problem getting to a part of the menu that I want I just unplug from the 12 supply and restart the charge procedure . With the balancer plugged into the charger you can get individule cell voltage as it charges by pressing the (sel) button and then cycling throught the cells with the (inc) button . The more you use it the easier it gets.

Re: Thunder Power Charger

One is the charger the other is the balancer they both can work separate or together. When charging a batt hook balancer to charger with the data link so the charger can read the cells, plug batt balance lead to balancer and plug batt to charger set your cell count and how many c to charge at and the rest is magic . I have had mine for 5 yrs with not a problem.

I believe the data link cable is so you can monitor and log the charge and condition of each pack on your PC.

Thunder Power Charger

I am charging with the Thunder Power TP 1010-C charger, I am using the Thunder Power TP 205-V balancer. The two units are connected with a "Data Link Cable"

Can somebody tell me what this does. Both units work whether connected or not. A usual with this electric stuff the instruction leaflets are inconprehensible.

Many thanks for all and any replies

Ed S
