Re: Are Dynam planes any good?

Is there a Canadian Distributor for these planes to save on shipping cost and border duty ??

Thanks Ron

Re: Are Dynam planes any good?

Same here, there will always be a tigermoth in my fleet. I used to fly the Unionville Hobbies Tigermoth and I put an OS61FS inverted in that little plane, and it used to fly amazing. I put in Elevator differential (back in the days when we had no electronic ATV), with 45 degrees down and 20 degrees up.

This thing used to do the most amazing lomcevaks, then fly out at walking speed.

The dynam is not quite the same as it's wing loading is a lot lighter, but it still puts a smile on my face when it puts around in the air slowly.

The dynam tiger moth is awesome. Here's a vid of the little moth, camera strapped to the bottom of the plane: https://youtu.be/pzmyscKcl6I

Re: Are Dynam planes any good?

All this info is good to know, as I will be shifting from scratch building to ARF's

Re: Are Dynam planes any good?

Like most ARFs, the Dynam models are a good starting point but need some tweaking to really get the most out of them. I have the Me-262, Bf-110 and Bf-109, and all of them needed some changes and modifications. Nothing really major, but enough that you'd want to do them before flying.

I enjoy the SU26 as well, replaced the esc with a horizon one out of another plane I no longer fly before the first flight. I really enjoy the peaks biplane as well. I also never used the esc it came with, just didn't want to take a chance after all I read about them failing. Great planes!

Re: Are Dynam planes any good?

Well, I think I am sold on the Dynams. I have some Lemon rx's and a few 30 amp esc's that are just sitting around looking for work so I am going to take the plunge and buy the T-28 and the Waco. I am just so impressed with the pricing. Thanks for the info gentlemen.

ps. keep adding to this if you don't mind, more info is even better.
