Re: Royal Corsair .60 size project. Thank for the comment. The white stuff was work done my TBRUM AKA esquire! It appears to be just a white wood material he used to make that trailing edge when I had cut the flaps out and he did great finishing work there. Dave |

Re: Royal Corsair .60 size project. OK so some pics today. The four smaller sheets are in but not to the best effect. Ill have to do some serious sanding and filler but the bulk of the idea is down and I am pleased due to the fact this is my first major alteration of any aircraft. Hopefully by weeks end all the strips will be down and then focus can shift to installing the landing gear. dave |

Re: Royal Corsair .60 size project. Ok its been a stretch but after visiting Dave rowe out east and seeing him at his craft I was motivated to move forward. The bottom sheeting is done that I had cut out. Servo trays in and cut out and the servo extension running to the centre of the wing. Im on the road again soon but im gonna crate the wing and bring it with me so that I can hopefully sheet the top, dump the retracts in and glass it! That too is a stretch Dave |

Re: Royal Corsair .60 size project. Here are the pics of the latest. Note the scale cloth locations have the wings have been cut out. This will be simulate by a thinner sheet of wood and then verticle strips will be added. Also towards the fuselage ive created other holes so that I can pass the cables for the servo! |
