Painted up, decals by Callie Graphics. I had some issues with the decals at first, Callie sent some replacements.

Elevator linkage. This is a scale flying stab - everything has to be very tight. Any slop can result in flutter.

Ready to paint. Lights are replacement lights for a Cessna 182 from SN Hobbies - the lights were less than $5.

Velocity-RC Boogie Hawk - A Scale Project

Hey all, I've been sharing this on RCG and I thought I'd share it here as well. I've been building the Velocity Hawk as a scale project. The outline of this model is 100% scale, save for the inlets which are larger to accommodate a 70mm fan. Even so, the intakes aren't overly large.

To make it "more" scale, I added the double slotted flaps, lights, and a more scale retract layout. Here are some photos and videos of my progress so far!
