Re: RMRC Anaconda FPV

I had the maiden flight of my RMRC Anaconda tonight. It went smooth as silk, no problems. I had a 33 minute flight with some mah's to spare. 7gigs of gopro footage. I'm using the vector osd and all modes worked well at default settings. Trimmed for stab off and radio trims saved in the vector. 2D, 2DH, loiter and RTH worked without any hicups. I'll upload some gopro video after I review it. A 45 minute flight should be no problem with 13200 mahs.

The gimbal was on the latest multi FW. Using GP 3 black.

The Anaconda is ready for maiden. 4.5 kg's RTF.

I finally uploaded some video from 2 weeks ago. This is the same gimbal I'll be using on the Anaconda.

Re: RMRC Anaconda FPV

It's time to finish off my Anaconda. I have the Vector for OSD and flight control. Picked up the wired version for my own connectors. Probably will go with XT60 but I do have some EC5's also. I was thinking of putting the gps/compass inside the fuse but may put it out on the wing. DL for RC control, video switcher between superHADII flight camera and gopro. Was thinking of adding a pan servo for the flight camera but decided to fix it forward and slightly down. I can pan around with the live feed out the gopro. Also looking into larger 4" tires instead of the stock 3" wheels. It will give some more clearance for the gimbal.

I'll be trying it indoors this Friday. Made some changes to my Quad I need to check. It will be the first test of the gimbal.

BC, check out the video up a few posts. I'll have the same set up, Anaconda and 3G ultra gimbal. In the video, the pilot was flying LOS and he had a camera operator working the gimbal. The gimbal does pan around via rc.
