If we do this event again we will certainly take it up a notch and advertise in MAAC too. We weren't sure how this would work out but is seemed to go off without a hitch. Thanks to everyone else who came out. I new most (or knew OF most) of the guests who flew - it was great to put faces with all the names. We had a great turnout and some awesome planes to watch throughout the weekend. So many reasons why I love this hobby... |

Glad you had a good time and I agree that the Cadets did a fantastic job. They were on on duty to help right on thru until the rain started to drizzle on Sunday helping to clean up and disassemble the event gear. As for you my friend .... you are a true to the core RC enthusiast and it is obvious the hobby is one of the things that drives you to have fun in life. Your Hawk was a beauty and was nicely flown. Keep up the flyin and all the very best for a speedy recovery. Hope we cross paths again some time. Paul |

I knew from the satellite photo I'd be shooting towards the sun at some time of the day no matter which runway set up they had to go with but the dull sky in the morning wasn't in my master plan.Just like the organizers I go with the weather we get. |
