Re: Santa came late!!!! Hi Chris, I bought mine just before Christmas. The promo then (till Dec 31) was a free programer for rx and tx updates plus half off basic telemetry package. You could probably availe yourself of that if you wanted. Mine took a bout 3 weeks to get here. (Windsor). And as has been said, don't hit the manual too hard, the radio is fairly intuitive, so start pressig buttons with some servos hooked up. See ya. Jason |

Re: Santa came late!!!! Here's a tip don't try and read the whole manual, You don't have that kinda time. Tip 2 take advantage of the offers from Hitec with 1/2 price receivers. And get the programmer (HP22) the whole set up is the cats arse. I would also switch to lipo power as the 7.2v 1300 pack will not last the weekend of flying. Yes I know you'll charge it in the evening but it makes you more confident when the voltage stays above 75%. P.S. the telemetry w/GPS is so cool I want to drive around with it in my truck just to download it onto my PC to see the data stream. http://www.hitecrcd.com/products/air...roraoffer.html |

Santa came late!!!! Whoo hoo!! Santa was a little delayed but yesterday a new shiney Hitec Aurora 9 showed up!! Whoo hoo I'm now in the 21st century! Any tips\tricks with the radio that might help?? |
