re :Plexiglas

Why would he try to change topic from wood to plastic when it has had 9 posts on wood in his location.

Would it not be better to start a new topic, than change title of the thread

Re: Where to get wood

I befriended a kitchen renovator recently. His business is custom built kitchen cabinets.
He can get me all kinds of Baltic birch ply for about 30% less than what the LHS charges. Unfortunately he can't get anything thinner than 1/8".

depending on the wood type you are looking for.

ply is sold in a 4X4 size sheet so you could easly pend over $100 for a sheet depending on the outer wood wanted ( zebra etc )

Did not price the strips or vinere , yet there are so many types of wood and price varries depending on what you want.

They even have wood finishing materials as well.

Re: Where to get wood

Was there on the weekend and they did have strips of mahogany.

Not to mention thin plywood and vinere of all types.
