S.Bortolotti Thanks for all the support gents! JB finished 4th in mod 2wd D-Main, 4th in stock 2wd B-Main, and broke in 4wd mod C-Main. I ended up winning the mod 2wd D-Main as Jerome said, and I ended up 2nd in 4wd B-Main with yet another blown motor

All in all it was an outstanding weekend - we had an awesome time. Thanks again for all the support and look forward to running on clay again at the Reedy Off Road Race of Champions!

S.Bortolotti 4wd qualifying is done for the weekend. I had a 8th this morning in round 2, a DNF in round 3, and an 11th in the 4th round tonight while blowing a motor in the last 45sec of the race (why can't I catch a break!!). I will be starting at the top of the B in 4wd which I'm pretty proud of. I've got the pace, just really wish we had a clay track close to home so the consistency can be there. The biggest thing I feel that was lacking this weekend was just the ability to keep up with the changing track, but oh well - live and learn! In 2wd mod I'm pretty stoked with how I've been doing. I'm sitting in the C right now after putting in a 21st overall for the round in round 3. If I can get another decent qual point to back it up I can hopefully make my way into the bottom of the B-main. Either way, with all the fast guys and competition here, I'm pretty pumped to be where I am at. TORONTO NEEDS A CLAY TRACK!!! This type of racing is the most fun you can have racing r/c cars - this is coming from an onroad guy....seriously! The number of people here definitely speaks for itself!

2wd mod qualifying is being finished tonight and yes....it will be a late night for us!

JB has finished up 4wd qualifying with 3 decent runs today. He looks to be ending up in the middle of the C-main but he definitely has the potential to bump up into the B. As for his 2wd stock buggy, he is doing really well and having an awesome time running it. He has one of the fastest cars in stock buggy but again, he is just missing that extra little bit of consistency to make it into the A as he will be starting in the middle-top of the B in stock buggy. In mod buggy, JB is doing well but just needs 1 more good run which we both hope will come in the final round as he is in the E-main currently.

For a couple guys who don't get to race on clay very often, we are having a ball. The learning curve is pretty steep, and the tire game is well....the off road tire game! We're looking forward to qualifying finally ending and getting to run some heads-up races tomorrow - should be a ton of fun because it is so competitive! Will check in again tonight after mod buggy qualifying is done...

TracktionRC I checked out JB's race #22 yesterday. Kind of cool, but tough to follow the action.

I just listened and watched the laps.
