Re: Best adhesive for Depron to Depron I keep my gluegun plugged in all the time out at the field and people that know it's for their use, so they keep me supplied with packages of glue. I don't know what kind it is so I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. |

Re: Best adhesive for Depron to Depron Yup hot melt works well but I think cheap dollar store is better than a glue like from Stanley |

Re: Best adhesive for Depron to Depron Anything that doesn't melt the foam is good But then after that it comes down to personal taste and application. I've used Beacon Foam-Tac as well as the above, but with the flexibles (like mentioned previously) if you want to do fine sanding you run into issues. The rubbery glues don't like to sand like the depron does and so they stick out. One way to combat that is to trim the excess glue after sanding, but it's not ideal. Good luck, J |

Re: Best adhesive for Depron to Depron I have the same question. What glues are best. After some building and experimenting here are my results. Depron to Depron RC56 or Canopy glue is best. The problem is that RC56 drys like rubber and is very difficult to sand. So when glueing edges you have to be careful. Titebond also works as does any polyurethane glues. Epoxy and Foam Safe CA with kicker work. I use them in some applications. Any Carpenters glues for wood working DO NOT WORK. The above mentioned glues will also work with Dollar Store foam board and EPP. They will also bond foam to foam, foam to carbon fibre and foam to balsa and ply. |

Best adhesive for Depron to Depron Will Foam to Foam work or does it have to be a Super type glue? |
