Re: Sudbury

hey guys the track @ doge this paint ball is built we did run it most of the month of September and October.

there hasn't had organized racing yet but once the paint ball park opens on April 14th i will try to get some structured racing every 2 week.

we still need to get a lap timer and it looks like we will be using the trackmate system i use it for the mini z racing series that we run in lively and it works good.

as of now we will only run 2 classes 1/10th and 1/8th once we get the interest we will make up different classes.

hope to see you out

S.O.A.R.!
I used to race way back when SOAR had the outdoor track in Hanmer! It was a Ranch on Valleyview road. I can't remember the name of the ranch. That was like 1988? or around that time anyways. Good times! I'm just getting back into the RC hobby, i'll have to drop by the track by the paintball field and check it out. Is the plan for these tracks going ahead?

Re: Sudbury

Hello all,

I'd be interested in some racing with my boys. I used to race with the SOAR crew back in the day, mostly carpet. Anybody else from those days here?

Anyway, don't really care much what class, have something for everything. Just want to get back into it after being out for so long. Anybody doing indoor carpet?

Re: Sudbury

I am FROM Sudbury but sadly don't live there any more. Moved out to the land of no lakes (Alberta) to many years ago to move back now but I wish you all the luck building your track, maybe if I ever get home again I will have to stop in and see it.

Re: Sudbury

Hey there all thanks for the INFO and i am aware of the track at dodge this as i am a dodge this crew member and oh really i am very interested in helping to get a full SHORT COURSE RC track going at the air port.

If there is anyone else out there from sudbury on this site don't be affraid to stop in and say hello. The more people involved in RC the better.

Have a good one. Shawn
