CSM Cyclock was this method and it's nothing new, in comparison to true speaking of the 3 axis it kinda sucks. Sure you can make it work. But at the lower prices now of the Vbar and other great systems, why bother? Best now to get proven system and get max performance and enjoyment out of your model IMO.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't the old raptors mccpm? In which case a single servo handled each function of elevator, aileron and pitch? In that case it would work. The discussion is whether it would work in an eccpm where the 3 servos work together to accomplish each function.

Yep, but in this case there are no servos, and it's not a ccpm set up... tri and quad copters are all fixed pitch and change the speed of the blades in order to generate lift and directional changes.

I think that I've seen guys use 3 gyros on tri and quad copter builds.

I had a old raptor that i used 2 gyros on for flybarless so if set up right it should work with three.

Quite the discussion on here about whether it's possible to use 3 single gyros with no processor as opposed to a single 3 axis gyro system like flymentor or helicommand.

What do you think? Waste of time or possible?
