G-BOAG taking off for the last time from CYYZ's runway 33R!, I was photographing her from top of original T1 on 2nd October 2003!, I clearly remember her rotating off the runway at very short distance and she climbed away rapidly into our skies....She was fully booked as each seat was sold for $1000! from short flight from here to JFK. G-BOAG is now preserved in not so great of condition at Museum of flight's airpark, where CF-TGE is "My girl", RA-001, VC-135 AF 1, AA B722 and prototype B731..... |

Here are few more pictures and video of our Queen in formation of 4 Concordes in a flight that BA did back in 1985-86 era! 3rd Picture illustrates temporary bagging preservation technique that BA did on retired pre-production Concorde G-BBDG at Filton in early 80's. 4th Picture illustrates production line at Filton in UK, Concordes were built in famous Barbazon hanger!.... |

Re: Giant edf Concorde in making... Thanks for posting the great videos. Kind of sad it's no longer around. Imagine living in the late sixties during the space race, the moon landing and Concorde being buillt, what must have people thought life was going to be like in the year 2000? Flying cars and and space ships on Mars? No seems like we've taken steps backwards, no more Concorde, not even the space shuttle, all we have is Facebook and Twitter..lol |
