I didn't grab the habu 2 I let it pass I wish I grabbed it. I'm currently looking for one though.

Cougar should be flying soon. Just need esc, then I can get local guy to maiden for me and trim it.

FYI - this plane is an ARF, only comes with the airframe, you must add all your own electronics.

Stock comes down to what you decide to put in it

$150 really isn't that bad, a buddy of mine just plunked down over $800 on a set of scale landing gear for his turbine.

I guess you can always put a set it later, good luck on the maiden.

Jason, I fully understand about what you mean about keeping the first jet box stock and per manual. That's what I did for my first 2 EDF jets until I got the handle on the flying characteristics. My 70mm viperjet is my first attempt at going all the way. Heading for a 2 week vacation in a week for 2 weeks then this viperjet is going to get unboxed.

I'm not putting 150$ retracts into my first cheap jet. I'm building it properly to manual but i'm putting very little into it I really wish i had taken the offer for the Habu 2 oh well..
