I like the Multiplex Funjet better.

Re: Parkzone Stryker F27Q

I got the PNP version. But yes those little hand grips are almost useless unless the little kid next door is launching it for you ) As for Dan, its more impressive than the old Stryker. Foam seems stronger and you can use the rudders as air brakes with an extra Y harness. Ask Fred, he's already done that. The motor is alot quieter than the old Stryker too. So you won't wake the neighbourhood doing high speed passes. I'll give you a call when I go out next. Btw I still have that battery, fully charged.

Re: Parkzone Stryker F27Q

Hey Kermit, let me know when you guys go flying.
So realistically, since you have the the old one too, how much better or different is it save the rudders and the one maneuver. I saw one fly on Sunday, but the guy was not much of a flyer and never even opened it up, but besides the paint job and the weird sounding motor, it was like watching the old Stryker.

One complaint is where you put your fingers to hand launch it, the area is a little small and not much to grip onto. Anyways, it has lots of power and goes like stink, as Ted Curl would often say. I went vertical after a low pass at full power and it climbs forever. I did my first "blender" maneuver which high rates are required on the ailerons. Shut the power off and it will glide like a bird. Gonna add some lights and do some night flying with it soon. Sorry I didn't get any pics or video but will next time. I do recommend this plane for anyone looking to have some fun flying.

Re: Parkzone Stryker F27Q

I had the pleasure of maidening one today as well.

I had to do a double-take on your name and location in case you were the same guy I was flying with today- your review is spot on what I would have said word for word

I also didn't like the little had grips on the bottom. But I was fortunate enough to have the owner act as the thrower for me. That was his biggest complaint. I guess it would be a little harder if you had to do it all yourself.

It is one fine ship, it is a heck of a lot of fun for high-speed-low-passes terminating in a full power vertical zoom climb until it becomes a speck (and rolling all the way up! )

If you feel the need for speed, this is a great ship to do it on!

I have been looking at these on the Hobby Hobby website. They look very interesting indeed. Did you get the PNP or the Bind n Fly??
