Thanks for the offer Sam, but I'll pass.

Re: Sapac Gripen build with modifications....

I go to Mississauga atlatest once a week if not twice to see my father in his nursing home. So meeting in Sauga or further east a bit is not a problem for me. Let me know if you want it now where there is no shipping cost involved to you.

Thanks for the offer Sam, that, with the cost of mailing it would put it near the $200.00 mark, not that interested. I'll pick up another F-18 from Kondor Models when I go south, they sell them in the USA for $87.22 and it's a big foamie as well.

Re: Sapac Gripen build with modifications....

Sorry John, it's too low of an offer for a model that is almost 4 feet in length and is getting hard to comeby. Tell you what, if you want it I'll meet you in between say $150 but not less then that. I think this is fair price for a big model when it comes EDF Jets. As far as KW Scale rally goes, probably I will not be here as I will be in BC around that time.

Well Sam, I do like the Gripen, if it's not sold by the time of the Flying Dutchmen event on Sept 10th and 11th, I'll give ya $120.00 cash for it and will meet you at the event to pick it up, if that works for you.

Thanks John, price is not written in stone...lol
That's why I posted it as asking $200 OBO...interested buyer can pm me his offer n we'll go from there. As far as 90mm EDF is concerned, I have a method to modify whole tail section with a newer one made to fit 90mm in it.

Re: Sapac Gripen build with modifications....

If it's just the airframe, I think you are a little high for a 70 mm, you'd really want to have one for $200.00 plus the shipping cost. I myself am looking for a NIB Sea Vixen but they seem to be hard to find.

You could get a 80 mm setup from Motion R/C in the USA that would be easier to make fit in the airframe instead of the 90 mm. Use the inexpensive retracts you can get from Hobby King and build it as a sport jet. It would be an inexpensive build and its apparently a good flyer.

Guys this Gripen is as is how I got it from Marty. It's now on selling block. Since I have no clue what these go for in kit form, I listed at $200 OBO.
