Re: 2017 WRCFC IMAC contest

Frank Klenk called me about the midair between Rick and Paul. So sorry for your loss guys. This makes me sick knowing how much you guys had invested both monetarily and emotionally (I know exactly what is involved) so I hope you found everything.
I hope you guys recover from this and we see you again soon. Peace brothers.

Yes, thanks to Steve, Brian and the Woodstock club for the great event even though I pulled the pin early. Not being able to fly Sunday and figuring for sure it would be rained out.....but I sure did sleep good in my own bed!
So sorry to hear the loss of two great planes they both were beauty's!

Another thanks to Steve, Bryan and the Woodstock club members. Very nice field and despite lots of threatening weather forecasts, we got good flying on Saturday. Special thanks to Frank and Adam for all the judging!
The Brewery and dinner on Saturday was also great.
Very sorry to see Rick and Paul's beautiful Pros get wiped out like that... amazing efforts by lots of people to make the recovery from that wicked swamp.

Thanks Steve and Bryan for your hard work. It was a good time. Although I didn't fly I sure enjoyed judging and watching everyone else. Some guys were shaky, some smooth. The Upper Thames brew House was a nice touch Saturday, Jim Daly you missed a real treat here. Looking forward to Sudbury NOIC.

Here's a couple pics from Saturday

Nice to see all again, great job Steve running the event and Brian helping plus all woodstock members keeping the contest moving in the background

Sundays mid air was very much unfortunate, hope too see everyone flying again very soon

Cheers

Re: 2017 WRCFC IMAC contest

I second Dave's comments - a big thanks to the Woodstock club for hosting another great IMAC event. Really appreciated. Weather gods were not as cooperative as we might have liked but we did get a few good flights in - at least most of them were good - I think mine caused some nose crinkling. Hope to see everyone at Sudbury and Ottawa contests.

The rain held off until evening but wind became high mid to late morning. Nice and sunny though

So did the weather hold out for Sunday? It was a super crappy day here in Sudbury.

Hey now!!

Sheesh, picking on a guy who has no internet access so he can't even defend himself. That's just not fair
