What a warm rewarding smile. You don't seam to see that all day long at work.

I love this hobby, and all the people I have met.

Re: repairing a crash victim

Picked up my plane today from Jeff and my god this things is better then brand new. I learned a lot in the short time, making of new ribs from old ones, using of the correct glue, joining of a club is important for advice or tips but the biggest thing I've learn is that I will crash probably more then once but it's not about the crashing, it's the getting up and saying it's not the end but a new beginning. Next time I crash at least now I have a greater understanding of RC planes to better repair/rebuild and just enjoy it without worrying so much.

Lastly, I will close off by saying thank you Jeff I can't say how much I appreciate everything. Also thank you to the RCcanada community, I can see that RC community really helps others, even with just simply answers, motivation or advice with various issues.

I'd love to get hold of some crashed r/c planes to work on. Not a clue where I could find any tho.

Great thread Sparky, I only hope your friend had a hand in this so he might have learned from it. Nothing better than building a plane and understanding WHY and HOW it flies, I started small as a 10 year old building rubber band, balsa and tissue paper kits from the LSH. IMHO that is where a noob should start, build crash, rebuild crash again.TOO MANY ARFs out today and the noob crashes and gives up. Still building 45 years later,Air, Land and Sea.

Cheers Doug.

Oh yea started my First ever ARF just because I have never done one
