This place is the headwaters of the Northeast Margaree river renowned for Atlantic Salmon fishing. I heard about it and decided to make an effort to find it. It was a beautiful September morning and I was fortunate to get a flight in as the wind was building. A very tricky place to fly and land but I managed to get it back. I red circled myself in one pic so you can get an idea of the scale, it was an impressive bluff (at least to me) These glaciated table-top hills have a unique beauty all their own  |

Not too active in AP but while attending a sea-kayaking event in Dundee, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, I had an opportunity to get some shots of this beautiful area on the Bras D'Or Lakes, and inland sea. For the ones with kayaks in them I had to get the pics taken then hastily put away the AP gear and jump into my kayak gear to join the group! We did a social paddle in the area and had 24 kayaks in the group. A fun day ! Lodging for most of us was at Dundee resort and Golf course at a reasonable price, our center for planning,meeting and socializing. From there we could reach several paddling venues easily.
