I ordered mine 2 weeks ago. A fellow in my club asked if I was interested and we got 3. If I had of know I probly would have gone with the Yak. But The dynex so far flies real nice and i think i am going to injoy it this winter.

The Yak is only a few months old. Dynex has been here for quite a while now. So it's quite possible that it wasn't available when you ordered yours. Great airplane for sure!

That 23" Prop goes on it for outdoor flying. lol
I didnt know till after I bought the Dynex that they had a yak or i would probly have a yak too.

Do you use that 23" prop when you need a little more power?

The Dynex looks good too but I chose the Yak55 because it has a little more wing area and I wanted to see how tough it turns out to be compaired to the milled 2.4

Good to see poeple out having fun with these little beasts!

3 Of us in Owen sound have bought the Dynex 2.4 from flying stuff hobbies as well. Had 2 of the 3 out flying last night. Ready to fly weight of the Dynex is 1.3oz with a tunrnngy 300 MAH running the micro 4 site gear. and 1.2 oz with the 160 Hyperions. here is a pic of it on the scale. with the weight with battery installed.

Finished it!! Flew it!! When is indoors again??

35.1g with battery ready to fly. 20" wingspan so a little larger than the 17" Extra300 UXM
