There is no reverse on the tmaxx 3.3. As well put your motor back to factory settings and re tune it.

Thank you for the reply. I will give it shot and let you know. Radio I am using is the TQi. Also, i tried using reverse, flicking the switch for reverse on my radio to the up position and the truck does not go into reverse.

set your tx to 70/30 not 50/50
your tmax bug and stall because is to lean
first set the low speed to quick response so the engine have to make a steady white smoke
after set the high speed at 1/8 turn at time and dont forget the white smoke the engine had to make.
if the truck stall or start bugging re-open the needle from 1/8 turn and lets it in this position
the 3.3 is easy to setup
if you have again this problem let me see
i will give you more trick and adjustement info!
what is the model of your transmitter?

Needing some help with newly purchased Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3.

Hello,

I am new to R/C / Nitro. I have fully did the break in stage on my T-Maxx. Here is the problem. When I "gun" it, as in going full throttle right off the bat, my T-Maxx starts bogging out and just does not want to go. Even at times it stalls and the motor shuts off. This goes for even having the throttle half way then going full throttle it does it too ect. I have played with the high speed needle and the low speed needle, I have even played with the idle also and it is still doing the same thing. Am I missing something here? Is this normal for new motors to do this? Should I keep fine tuning the needles until I get it right? Or is it simply something else? I would appreciate any help possible. Thank you!
