On the side note of hobby hole sale I've never had good dealings there for what I've needed they don't seem to have much for planes (well what I like lol). That's just me though. And the other store down the road has dumped pretty much all large scale gas stock. They can still order it a month or two later. But they've realized the real money is the people buying elec park flyer stuff and have gone that route. I only go in to either place if I really need something that pro-Rc doesn't carry and I don't want to wait for an online order. Just my two cents |

Re: Hobby Wholesale Honestly I think the guy had a bug in his butt before I tried dealing with him. It was just so weird - I've seen people act like he was at my job before and just cringed, this time I was on the receiving end. Not very pleasant at all. |

Re: Hobby Wholesale Depends what you wanted. I just got back from my favorite hobby shop and a customer there was badgering the owner’s younger daughter for a better price. She called her dad over and he offered the guy 10% off. Not good enough he wanted more. He gave him his bottom line. Still not good enough he said he could get it cheaper on line. My buddy suggested he purchase it on line. The guy started crabbing that they were out of stock that’s the only reason he came to the shop so since he was here already he may as well take it. My buddy calmly replied no I don't thinks so your not going to happy no mater what I do you best take your business somewhere else. Within a half hour he was getting hate emails from the guy. Always two sides to the story with the truth somewhere in the middle I guess. Would like to hear his version. Dennis |

Re: Hobby Wholesale Well the guy certainly was put out that he might need to put a bit of effort into what I wanted. Maybe the worst part was him complaining about how hard his job was. |

Re: Hobby Wholesale If it's the same guy i'm thinking of , he's been there quite awhile ! They are generally pretty good there . Come to think of it , there is another one there that "has his days" . LOL I find there to be more attitude at the other store a few blocks away , and only go there if HW doesn't have what i need . |
