From a business point of view, I understand why they are expensive. A pair of 6" Dubro tires are $54 plus tax the aluminum about $15 your into $80 before you get started. So for a machine shop to make money the price gets up there. A pair of rims takes 3-4 hours then the fittings another 1.5 hours. |

Re: Home made wheels No one can deny that they are pretty! I just wish that I have the talent and the tools to make such amenities. Part Two to the conversation... I don't know what you get paid and I don't know how long it took for you to make those rims... but I'm sure that I could probably make a nice plane for what you would charge to make up a set... So I'll just sit back and admire them.  Well Done! |
