Hank I make mine on company time...... they pay me to make my ----!! oh ya think they even supply the aluminum.... maybe even at time and a half or double time!! lol

I appreciate your complements, it is a labor of love when you do it for yourself. And using bad weather to pass the time.
From a business point of view, I understand why they are expensive. A pair of 6" Dubro tires are $54 plus tax the aluminum about $15 your into $80 before you get started.
So for a machine shop to make money the price gets up there.
A pair of rims takes 3-4 hours then the fittings another 1.5 hours.

I just wish that I have the talent and the tools to make such amenities.

Part Two to the conversation...

I don't know what you get paid and I don't know how long it took for you to make those rims... but I'm sure that I could probably make a nice plane for what you would charge to make up a set...

So I'll just sit back and admire them.

Got the Dubro rim's cut out using a coping saw, l poked a hole with a piece of music wire to get it started.
