Mainly I just like the looks of it better and for me it seems easier to work on. As far as HK items go, I have 3 450's flying, one 500 equiped with SK720 that fly's nice and smooth and soon have a multicopter with all HK items along with Naza for control. More important is for you to do some research and chose which way to go, maybe with all parts you might just buy a complete 450 less electric componets. |

Re: 450 SE V2 HK parts I would go with their 450 pro kit, either TT or belt for about $59. Stay away from the older metal framed version ($20?). The carbon pro frame is nice, pro head is good. But be sure to check spindle bolts for locktite and DO NOT overtighten, the bolt is softer/weaker than align (just replace them) and the 1.5mm bolt head will separate if the metal has been twisted beyond its elastic point (ask me how I know). Its OK, the blades only fly apart about 40 feet but if you are inside that range, duck. Might also use the original Align flybar shaft, the HK is much softer. Check every bolt for locktite. Oh yes, the HK spindle thrust bearings do fall apart, have spares on hand. I would essentially convert your SE to a pro, but use your good servos, gyro, etc. Parts are easier to get at LHS and the HK pro is essentially 100% compatible with the Align pro and is a much stronger frame than the SE. Thats what I did with my old V1. Flys great. Ray |

Re: 450 SE V2 HK parts You can check the manual on both, but I think the HK-450 is the same as your SE V2. I just bought a frame for 19.95 from HK that has everything in it, bearings, boom mount, belt tail drive gear, battery mount ect ect. |

450 SE V2 HK parts I just crashed my 450 SE V2 today and bad. I was just wondering which parts will fit to the SEV2 from hobby king. I'm going to need things like frame parts, tail boom, landing skids and a bunch of other stuff as well. Thanks |
