Re: fatshark orange se

I used my new dominator Fatshark SE goggles. They have a massive screen and that gives a very immersive feel.

A big plus is the inbuilt DVR and head tracker, and a receiver, important to me, as I wanted them for fixed wing FPV, So I feel the the price was fair.

I like these very much, comfortable to wear, and view is great, compared to my fatshark Attitude V2 and Horizon Teleporters, Have never tried HD's

But goggles are such a personal thing.

Whoa!!!

But $658??? you are better off with a 42" HD TV in the back of your car...LOL...!!

I think I'll continue to use my V1's and wait for the price to come down a bit

Yeah, me too.
I've been using V1's for years and know it will be time to upgrade soon.

I personally would like an HD system. Getting tired of hitting tall grass and tree branches...LOL

The field of vision is almost the same as my v2's. The image was clear but you can see the screen is lower resolution and can see some pixels (640x480). They are very comfortable to wear and the built in DVR is handy.

It is late in the season and I will wait until spring to buy a pair. If I invest this amount in the goggles I may just up the cost and buy the HD2's for the higher resolution. Hopefully there will be more competition with the gaming VR market starting and the price will drop.
