Very well said!!

That said your friend has a better then 50% odds at being guilty. Certainly not odds I would want to take by coming on here and expressing my vote for a man that, by your theory has a 50% chance he sexual assaulted a young boy.

The fact you come on here and tell us all about the stats shows what side your on. Me, I'm on the side of all sexually exploited children and the justice they so very much deserve.
So if someone says something that is not what you want to hear, you slam him. Great way to promote a free exchange ideas and opinions......... NOT!

Attacking people who don't agree with you is not helpful. People presenting facts and statistics is helpful to an informed discussion. The person should not be attacked and "labelled" for doing so.

Totally agree with you, Merv. Like Keith Morison, I've known Jack for years, in my case, upwards of thirty years and never a whisper of anything like this.

One of the basic tenets of the Brtitish heritage and rules of law is the concept of "innocent until proven guilty", and the basis for that is Biblical in nature (both Old and New Testaments.)

So, for all the people of Hebrew and Christian backghrounds out there, here's a site that talks about what this thread really is at this point....

My one and only comment on this.

If he's convicted, I'd have no sympathy for him but until that time I think it's unfair to assume guilt. Perhaps one of the differences is I've known him over 20 years or so and I doubt you've met the man.
Good post and position.

Legal experts all. Idiots.

Mods, you think my post here is off base, you wanna boot me, be my guest. Save me the trouble of closing my account. I have no further desire to frequent a forum that allows such garbage to pass as content. One way or the other, this is my last post here.

After a 10 year absence from the hobby (after almost 40 years in it) I discovered this site. I've been a viewer of this site for a short time, and I've read a lot of mean spirited bullshit on this forum. If I was an advertiser, I'd be questioning my my marketing decisions. I'm questioning my purchasing decisions beginning - now.

Some advice - don't allow the politics or the religion. Your forum will be a better place.

Buh Bye.
What do you expect in a discussion forum - DISCUSSION! Sure, there were some harsh and judgmental arguments being made but this is a very touchy subject! The job of the moderators is not to prohibit discussion that is on topic. The heading for this section is "general rc aircraft discussion". The subject of this police investigation has a long history with MAAC so I think it is perfectly appropriate to wonder what is going on. You don't like the subject- fine, move on! There is plenty of "pure" rc discussion going on here in RCC. After your 10 year absence from the hobby I don't think the advertisers here are going to worry much about your purchasing decisions LOL

Re: Has this Court case been resolved?

Hi MikeCam,

Unless you know different, the case is closed.

You know how I detest perverts and sexual predators.
(and how false accusers should pay the price)

You anti FAI ists (ask Sharpy) brought this up on the new MAAC section here on RCC.

I see you cannot get 'traction' there, so you??? post here???

I can keep track, myself, of who says what.

There is a Maac Section Here.

Thanks RCRick! Moderators, can we keep FAI disscussions in that pool?

Re: Has this Court case been resolved?

Nice how you bring FAI into this thread. We have enough of the FAI threads going, how about you leave it at the door.

This thread was about a Member who was charged for a crime that held a position in MAAC.

Also big difference between a pervert and a sexual criminal.

Re: Has this Court case been resolved?

Hi All,

I am the first one who thinks a GUILTY Sexual Predator should go into General Population Jail. (they would not last long, and the guards would look the other way. )
I also think those who 'falsely accuse' should pay a price.

The Cops, Courts, found no case.
Good on them, for doing their jobs.

I look at who has posted here...
And who is against Maac FAI funding?

Guess What? That is what they want...You to think. (and are somehow insinuating that all FAI enthusiasts are 'perverts')

Good Luck!
I cannot wait for Ed Smith to steer you all straight !

Take care,
Have fun,
