If you don't want to tear it down then just play with the throttle trim (on the left side of the throttle stick on the remote). It should be at center, looks a bit higher than that.

Re: Need help with car

Ok, you need to find the throttle servo to begin with. It looks like a servo is ziptied to the top of the MSC, please cut that off and let's see what's under there. not sure on the original design but I'm pretty sure a zip tie wasn't part of it.

You should have two servos if you have a MSE. Basically the throttle servo controls the speed by moving an arm along a metal strip (simple variable resistor) which then allows power to the motor based on the position on the arm on the strip. You need that arm centered which would be 0 throttle. The other servo is going to control the steering. The thing with an MSE is it doesn't need a signal to send power to the motor if the arm is in the wrong spot... I'd also remove the switch or replace it, up to you.

No offense to you and I know you already bought this but... it's really not the best way to enter the hobby. It's like getting a somewhat working pinto from the 70's as your first car...

IMO, you need to strip that vehicle completely down. Look for broken parts; lube, oil and grease; and get everything working properly.

Re: Need help with car

there should be a throttle trim on your radio. Now if you want to convert to anouther radio we should do that first.

If you do please let us know what radio that is.

I will PM you my phone #.
