Oh now you guys are just getting silly, and by that I mean political. I sort of understand politics: 'Poli' meaning many and 'tics' meaning BLOOD SUCKING PARASITES! Not wanting to put too fine a point on it though...and we do NOT want to start me on the CRA!!!!!

That being said there is another thing you guys running intakes to the bypass should know. John's was eaten up by the vibration I guess about 220 flights or so. He has a P-120SX in it. It seemed to cave in just ahead of the engine at the large flat area on the intake. I added some carbon fibre tow on there, and I am at 46 flights on it at the end of this season. There is no appeciable wear on the intake that I can see, but who knows. Anyway in the off season now adding that carbon certainly beefs up the resistance of that large flat area. It takes a pounding from the suction of the engine during acceleration, and the pressure of the airflow at high speed, So for a light fibreglass part, it gets a harsh environment in which to remain solid. John's literally crumbled as I recall.
