Re: Air inflator advice

Hi Dave: guess the guys just want the compressor. If I needed one I think I would try what was available locally and if it doesn't perform as advertised , then return it. Just about any larger place has a Home Depot or Princess Auto and they are pretty good for returns. Just don't do any wire or alterations until proven....lol ...in any case the leads are out there for the needy to try out. Thanks

They have them on the Canadian site, but more money.

Len, i just used the Amazon link to show it. You can buy them locally. I got mine at Canadian tire a few years ago on sale for about $80. I'm not sure in Canadian Tire still carries them but, someone surely does.

I got mine on sale at Canadian Tire a few years ago after going through several smaller, cheaper compressors

I highly recommend the Viair 85P:

Amazon Amazon

Cut off the power lead and install your favorite battery connector, plug in a 3s lipo and you're good to go. It's quiet, fast and runs forever. There's an LED in the back you need to disconnect so it doesn't drain the battery and your need an adapter from the air chuck to 4 or 3mm hose but that's it.

Ps, Dean - what happened to the one I gave you?

Re: Air inflator advice

The Home Depot ones are $40 . Supposed to pump to 130 lbs. Similarly constructed all metal pump at Walmart and others run around $55 to 60bucks. Check them out and watch for the sales.

Princess auto has a pretty good looking one for $45 on sale but not sure how long so would wait too long.

Pete,

Try Walmart. Under $15 for one with a gauge...strap on a 3 cell lipo and you got a portable air compressor that will pressurize more than 120 psi. I find the Canadian Tire ones won't pressurize above 80 psi.

If you had a tank that could be pumped to say! 150 plus pounds and yes a regulator , that might work but then we are getting heavy and bulky.
