Re: Charger

I watched the video on it , and it looks like it'll do anything you'll ever want. My triton is getting a little outdated too, hmmmmm.

Re: Charger

Well, I'm going to order the voltz 6250. At 250 watts it should do the trick.
Anyone use the log view software that is compatible with the newer chargers these days?

I can take my 5C lipos from storage charge (50-60%) to nearly full charge in less than 10 minutes. It makes last minute flying a breeze.

I just need a parallel charge harness now so I can use the full 20A from my Hyperion EOS720i.

I had an iCharger 1010B+. It eventually caved on me but I might have done the damage myself. It was an excellent charger. 10s, 10A and 300watts but now they have nicer ones available. iChargers also have many battery checking features. Again, not 100% sure about the IR feature but for some reason I think my 1010B+ had it.

Re: Charger

I have the iCharger 206B and I can use a 6 port charging/balance board to charge 4 2s zippy 5000mah packs at 20amps at once. I love it, if I had 6 packs I could charge them all in 1 hour 30 minutes

Re: Charger

Couple of more choices. I have two of the Accucel 6, 50 watts, from hk for my smaller stuff up to 2200ma. A also have the ECO 6-10, 200 watts from HK for the 1/4 scale stuff. 10 cell 5000 ma. They do all types of batts and had no problems at all. Simple programming for people like me.

Yeah, they are about $20 to $30 more expensive then the ones from the states, and with the CAD where it is there is great benefit from buying from the states. (not sure what EP Buddy or Progressive RC marks on the customs declaration though)

Re: Charger

Yes it is a good charger for the money, 6S capable at 10A and 250W for $99. That being said, with the Canadian dollar at par or above the USD these days, for $140 USD plus shipping ($7 for non trackable, $20 for trackable) you can get the 206B, 6S capable 20A and 300W

http://epbuddy.com/index.php?main_pa...&products_id=3

They also have the 208B for $165.95 USD, 8S capable 20A 350W.

http://epbuddy.com/index.php?main_pa...&products_id=4

From my surfing around, EP Buddy's shipping to Canada is better than Progressive RC's (the other iCharger distributor in the states)

If you get an iCharger make sure you have or get a power supply that can supply the wattage, depending on the iCharger you get.
