Re: Slope Soaring in N.S. Still waiting for my Alula, snail mail takes forever! Had my Slinger out for it's maiden today, just on the flat, no slope. Flew well and stable once I got it trimmed. Glides well with the power off, goes where you put it. With a bit of practice I think I'll be able to catch it. Will take it to a slope when the weather firms up. Charles. |

Re: Slope Soaring in N.S. Alula is a fun plane, especially for the price. A Weasel would be a better slope plane, especially if you can slope often.It handles more wind. The Devil will work really well, I tried a Slinger and it flew OK in medium lift and up.Any of the wings are good because they are durable, also the Bee series http://www.atlantahobby.com/Store/pc...planes-c54.htm |
