Yup, bugs just around the corner. Quite nice here in Pond it gets above zero most days and is sheltered so very little wind.

Stay warm my friend! Better you than me as in my mind anything north of the 401 is too far north. LOL

I just did a bit of a mod to the one that came with it. You only need to connect to the number of pins that are needed for your particular battery, just mind correct polarity.

If you do an image search on RCG under my user name you will find a post. Kind of hard for me to do it right now with the lethargic internet connection at work in Pond Inlet NU.

Exactly. Wish I had it before, would have saved me a single engine landing with the Twin Otter.

Rob

I bought the balance connectors on ebay and wired them up to fit in the GEM. Just make sure you get the negative to the negative and the radio will display the correct number of cell voltages. I like the idea of being able to set an alarm for each cell of the battery.

I bought a couple of these as well and they work fine. You can't use more than one at the same time however.

Hey David,
What connector do I need to go from the battery monitor cable on the General Engine and General Air module to a 3s JST/XH balance tap on a battery? I keep going around in circles! the pin-out on the module adaptor seems to be for a 7s as it has 8 pins on it! I'm absolutely loving the telemetry on the MZ-24! been playing with the vario and GPS on my Solius and it's wicked! Just want to be able to get individual cell voltages on my rx and cdi batts for my other machines that I'm currently retrofitting.
TIA
Cheers

If u want to get anything from Open Hobby you need to contact them about shipping, the automatic shipping calculator is ridiculous, they will fix u up. I guess I was thinking MC or MX on the sequencer, you might want to download the manual. Newest one is on Open Hobby.

I'm guessing Pro-RC could get u anything you wanted if u asked to have it brought in?

For the voice most of us use an ear bud. If your the only one flying or if everyone is flying elec the voice is loud enough.
You can choose some batt options. On a fully charged pack I have spent most of a day programming in my garage and had not drained it to the point of needing a charge to finish my programming. There is a larger 6000 mah pack but I hAvnt got around to seeing if it fits. And you can set the alarm to whatever low voltage alert you want. As for a door sequencer I hAvnt had a plane that requires one yet. But here is one way from the USA rep
