Yeah, watch yourself with that prop!!! Best to take it off while playing around with setup. (have it on for balance though of course.)

I was just thinking about the battery. I forget now where I put mine. I thought it was in the bottom but not so sure.

Since I used a small LiPo that was quite light it may have been under the front canopy. Depends on what you use. You could screw a couple servos in just to position them and set the rest of the gear in somewhere and try balancing it with the battery just sitting on top to figure out where to put it.

I bet you could put the two ends of those white wires right on to a blade type fuse. I would only be guessing what value it should be though. Does the power switch have a current rating on it? Duh!! Just re-read and see you said 20 amps. I would go for a 15 amp, protect the power switch from over current.

Might find some info or instructions on that switch if you ask good ole' Mr. Google.

What does it look like inside the bottom hatch?

Re: Need answers: What do I have here???

Here are a few pics. That long battery pack is from my roto start for my RC trucks. It is 1800mah 7.4v and was the only one I had with the same type plug. on the power switch box it says 20a 7.2-8.4v so I knew it wouldn`t do any harm. As for the servos, I have a baggy with different type ends (round, t-type, etc) not sure which to use yet. You can see the white wire I speak off with the same ends. Not sure what gets plugged in between to make connection.....maybe a fuse of some sort? I`m just guessing at this point.

Google did not find anything for me. Maybe if you PM the guy in the thread I linked he might be able to help you out.

You can get the manual for Gentle Lady:

http://manuals.hobbico.com/gpm/gpma0960-manual.pdf

The wing is very similar. If you used the control throws and balance point from that and did a few hand tosses, just toss it easy into the wind in some tall grass, you could fine tune the balance point, especially if you started balancing from the forward end of the range given for the GL.
Thanks for the link, that will be very helpful!!!

Certainly do. Get a few of them, inside all areas. Would be more than valuable to help you sort out what it might take to get it going.

Even in the presence of some tips here, take it to an experienced modeler before attempting flight to have it checked out.

Re: Need answers: What do I have here???

Thanks. I noticed the prop was tight against the fuselage, Loosened it off and moved it outward a hair. Just with a 1.5v Double A battery I touched both leads and it turns nice. If any of you are wondering and unclear of the white wire I am talking about...just say and I will post a pic.
