Re: Graupner Hotspot Our new Jet Committee chairman, Kelly Williams, was flying one of these for many years. Might want to contact him for info as well... he is here on RCC as well as his email should be in the MAAC info (on line or in the magazine) AJC |

Re: Graupner Hotspot Set the Cg as per the bob wilcox manual and it will fly fine. If you go too far forward, it will need a lot of elevator in the turns to keep the nose from dropping. If you go too aft, it may not come out of a flat spin( if you put it into one) or the nose could also pitch up when flying with a high AOA (not fun when at a low altitude). Other than that, they are a fun jet. It may take you a while to learn to slow it down. Best thing to do, is learn to get it slow about 1-2 circuits prior to landing. |

Re: Graupner Hotspot Yep, that helps for sure. I would still like to hear from anyone that has one flying to see if they have any tips on flying or setup. Bob |

Graupner Hotspot Hi, Just picked up a used Hotspot and need some help setting it up. Does anyone have a manual they could scan for me or give me a setup that works for them with CofG and control throws? I am planning on a Jet Cat P80SE for push. Thanks in advance, Bob |
