fuzz86 Like Peter said earlier parts support and also what are the guys your pitting with or running with is always nice so if you don't have a part they might but in the end pick the one that turns your crank. you always want to like your ride no matter what anyone says.

That being said I had the chance to come out of semi retirement and run a losi at the MPM race. I had never driven the Losi before or even raced 4wd SC. First time on the track was my 3rd qualifier (stupid work) the truck was great. It just did what you asked nothing out of the ordinary. point and shoot. very stable. Sunday I bumped from the B main and finished 3rd of 14 in the A main.

Couldn't have been more happy with the LOSI SCTE!!!! AAA+++++++

The Durango i believe had a few probs with drive train I believe but is an excellent truck although not a lot of shops carry parts and it needs saddle packs or special batteries like losi's 22 buggy.
.
for what it's worth...I picked up a Durango sc and have been running it a Speedworld and Hotrods.this truck is planted and very forgiving kinda like a mugen 1/8 .with high traction on the carpet and some crazy power I have put the driveline through hell and back and can say that the drive line is 100% Wookie proof. As for hobbyshop support there are four shop that I can think of that carry durango product 2 in Hamilton,1 in st catherines and 1 in Miss. and I'm sure there will be durango support in the east end soon.
I've driven most sc truck and find that I can push the dingo the hardest and stay in control.Even in the dirt my truck with a carpet set up was fast at Vineland speedway on Sunday

007 Foe electronics get an rx8 esc and a 4600 tekin motor and you will not go wrong.

imported_xxfile Ran the losi for the whole season with no issues.
they came out with an option kit that added some good hop ups and its a good deal.
There were the inevitable teething problems when it first came out but its good now.it is the heaviest of the bunch but It will push the others all over the track due to the weight.

You need to buy GOOD electronics as they all are at the edge of what can be delivered with 2 cell lipo's. fans are good and 4 pole BL motors like tekins or castles and Tekin's Rx8 ecs
There were some probs with the diffs that was addressed by changing diff pins but Losi looked after us with N/C parts for anyone who asked for them.

Havent seen AE's truck in action so I cant really comment except for battery compartment being a bit tight and wont accept bigger batteries.

Ofna's truck has been around a year longer than the rest so the issues are all known and fixed lots of people ran them until the new Losi, AE and Durango came along..

Last year we ran slash platinum editions and while it is looked down on by most people as a basher from Traxxas it is a capable race truck. I still have mine and race it as well as the losi. The slash is cat quick and light but also a little hairy to drive. The losi is planted and while you dont think it seems as fast the transponder doesnt lie and its easier to drive fast.

Mugenman The AE truck.

All that are listed can win. It's up to the driver, build and set-up. Paying attention to details makes a big difference when building and doing maintenance.

007 Go with the Losi along with what Mavrick0 said it is ROAR Champion. Here's a link and i know the STLR guys are going to be running them this year so we can help you with set ups as well.

I know lots of people running them and have not heard a concern yet.

imported_mavrick0 This is going to be a ford vs gm thread. What I would recommend is whatever you can get parts for easily from you lhs so when something breaks you aren't out for a week or longer.

Now as for my opinion you can't go wrong with the Losi Ten-SCTE and with it taking the number 1 and 2 positions in the rcpro series and taking the top 4 spots at the Martin Petri memorial race at averge joe's that gives it some good street credit.
