Thanks Struts1 for the reply..... most of the mess is on the covering, the guy just used too much epoxy and CA and it has run in different places, will try to peel it off, or recover....

Can you post some pictures of the contaminated areas if possible. If it's matter of epoxy on the covering only and not on wooden structure then you can peel off the covering and it will come off, unfortunately not much can be done to remove it from the covering, better to take off the covering and then recover the area again.

If you have epoxy of structural parts, then depending on the area, you can use heat gun to soften the epoxy and the use hobby knife or handy tools to remove it, make sure don't heat it too much that epoxy holding the structural joints come lose.....You can also use pencil type soldering stick to heat and remove old epoxy. Like I said it all depends on the area your will be working at or working into...

Hi guys, need to know how to remove dried up Epoxy from my plane.....I bought it used, but there is a lot of dried epoxy on the covering in areas and looks gross, also dried CA, any help would be great.
