It looks like we are good to go in the US.
Max turbine powered jet is 75 lbs, full fuel, ready to fly.
Since we are affiliated AMA member, we qualify for AMA document 520 A, page 22 of 29.

FOREIGN PARTICIPANTS – EVENT PERMIT TO FLY
Since the majority of foreign participants attending AMA sanctioned events would find it
difficult to comply with the requirements of obtaining a Permit to Fly, the AMA Executive
Council has approved the following provision, effective December 18, 2008:
1. Any foreign participant must be an Affiliate AMA member.1 This requirement also
applies to current MAAC members who wish to apply for an event permit and their
aircraft is between 77 and 100 pounds. This is due to discrepancies between the AMA
and MAAC safety codes and liability policies.
2. Pilots/Owner must sign an attestation that the aircraft has flown a minimum of three
successful flights on previous occasion

Guys, not sure I've ever heard of a specific limit here in Canada. I do know that if you (as a MAAC member) were to fly such an aircraft in the US, the reciprocal agreement with the AMA mandates the more restrictive of the 2 rules if they differ so keep that in mind... Anyhow, I'll check into it and get back to you.

It may take a bit to get a definitive answer, with Jets Over Whidbey (my favorite rally!) in a couple days and a few other things on the go committee wise.

Edit, one more thing on the MAAC site's jet committee page. I looked at our page a while back and thought it looked pretty bare. I'm going to see about getting some useful info there on a few subjects...

Seems to me the BEST person would be the jet committee chair Kelly Williams, just because somebody is flying a large turbine jet, doesn't mean they know what the rules regarding weights might be (note, I am NOT saying these fellows don't, but when you have a question regarding rules, it's generally best to talk to those on the committee or directly with MAAC)
