I bought a $25 1/8 buggy e-conversion from castle creations and had to pay $16 (cheapest)for shipping through UPS, week and a half later it came ups ground and the bast**ds wanted $25 + tax for canada side proccessing (ups air does it on the usa side so no fee)... I lost it and called them up and let the guy on the other end have it..first thing I said was if you hang up i'm gonna call every 2 minutes till someone takes this $25+ tax off my sister inlaws credit card (the guy would only except CC and he was rude as hell) so the guy on the phone apologized and took it off but damn it still pissed me off. No more ups ground for me.

Re: HK still the king... Phew, I jumped the gun. I found out I had two packages delivered on the same day. One from Horizon and one from HK. Carry on gentlemen. |

Re: HK still the king... Yup I hate UPS, seems like they always want to get their greedy fingers in the mix and charge triple. Weird thing is I have two orders with HK, one I click directly on a tracking number and it takes me to hong hong post with status (this order) The other one, which is for almost the same value, I get a link to Swiss post which pretty much goes no where as there is no option for Canada. |

Re: HK still the king... UPS??? When did that start? UPS sucks, they are the most expensive courier and always nail you for brokerage which is minimum $25 and then the GST/HST. It's like they make sure Customs Canada looks at all of their packages to justify the salary of the guy that does the brokering. What a crock.... Almost have to specify Canada Post or EMS. I would contact HK support to get my $ back as they did not list UPS as an option for you to decline. However, if the HK support dorks are the same ones I have been dealing with, you will probably get screwed also. Good luck. |

Re: HK still the king... Looks like I may have spoken too soon. Apparently a UPS delivery person came to my door today and wanted $42 in charges for a parcel from HK. The total declared value on the invoice is only $22 - Im not sure if I should go to the UPS warehouse and get it/find out or contact HobbyKing and complain and perhaps get some sort of credit. I didnt know they use UPS, I thought its through Canada post.
