Reading magazines in pdf format and enjoying is dependent on the app opening the pdf file. Not sure if your kobo can install apps from Google play, etc but you might check out pdfmax. One of the better ones that allows you to simply double tap on a magazine column and have it enlarge to full screen. Double tap again to revert to full page. Pretty easy to navigate a magazine. No need to resize anything.

Several of the ebook apps also allow reading pdf files, some good, some not so good.

Personally I cannot read a paper magazine anymore. Too many advantages to the digital versions.

Even on the can sandy! Lol

nothing like a "real" magazine when you're on the can.... just sayin'

You can download a pdf version of each magazine and keep it on multiple tablets or PC's, which is what I like and the PDF would be local so faster to resize if needed. I find I set it at a size and can read the whole thing quite well on an Android tablet or on my PC's.
It is 27MB to download though so depends on your internet service and speed.

I have been away for a bit and was notified of January edition and downloaded and voila I'm reading it many miles from home. Not quite as easy to read but better than if it was sitting at home waiting for me.
Try the PDF really. It works well.

I did have problems at one time with the subscription and I'm sure I will again. Their left hand often does not know what the right hand is doing. Seem to be completely separate entities and very poor at "sharing" with each other(non-existent).

I absolutely love my Kobo e-reader, but like you, not sure about e-magazine subscriptions. Too much work for me to make reading comfortable and until Kobo comes out with a colour screen version of their product, e-magazines won't work for me. I suppose I could always use a tablet, but I have enough electronics around the house and don't want to buy or maintain more.

Interesting! I received a set of plans within two weeks of ordering from them about 8 months ago. No issues what so ever. I would call, not email and get it straightened out. May have been a computer glitch?

Not sure about the digital mags, but I did order plans through airage a couple of years ago, and never got them, nor did I ever get a response from them.

Model Airplane News - problem

Not sure where to post this so I'll throw it out here. Admins please move it's if not in proper forum. I'm curious if any one has had problems with the digital subscriptions to MAN and it's sister publication Electric Flight. I subscribed to both on Oct. 4th but still can't access them to read them. E-mails (3) have been sent to Airage, the online store that does their subscriptions with no response. I paid with Paypal so if I don't hear something by next Monday I'll reverse the payment through Paypal. I hope I don't have to. Has anyone who subscribes to these two digital mags ever had problems or have any tips for me? TIA
