Re: Counterfeit Spektrum 6100e

Looks like Horizon Hobby may have started to crack down on their vendors. Places like SNHobbies and TheBarnFloor have stopped discounting their Spektrum products.

I had wondered about the SNHobbies Spektrum products. Have you purchased and found their products and service good?

And if you want to get your genuine spektrum gear at less than MSRP from canada check out www.snhobbies.com (I have no affiliation with them).

Live by price. Die by price.

You are not the first and won't be the last.

Sounds like a more trouble than it's worth to save $30 or so.

Thank-you for posting this information.

Yes, the first two only ranged at 10Ft and 27ft. The replacements check at about 28ft. Tommorow I'm going to check with a friends DX7 just to be sure it's not my DX6i.

I tested the range on my clone AR6100.
Twice, 70ft and 65ft.

Some others have stated: they only get 30ft to 50ft.
I was reading on this forum, that the person only got 10ft range test.

They all seem to work, but how does your range check compare to a genuine Spektrum receiver?

Some of the Clone AR6100 do operate without any problems. I have one and it been operating correctly.
I have oberved three other Clone AR6100 flying in other aircraft with out any
problems.

When I bought my Clone AR6100, I DO NOT know it
was a clone at the time. When I received it, I tried and
liked it. I bought my clone AR6100 off EBay.

I have it in HK 500GT (clone of a T REX 500)
Ten flights today, loops and flips. Plus some hard sport flying........

Bought them off ebay. I'm guessing all the cheap ones for around $15 are the same but maybe I'm wrong. But four out of four didn't range check worth a hoot.
