Re: Hacker Motor service ???? Nice! I knew they'd come through. I used to be sponsored by them in RC car racing and they have always had excellent service! They're a pretty giving company. They've always supported any event I've requested them to, also! Their bearings are awesome, too! |

Re: Hacker Motor service ???? Bdegan, this is the reply for the Hacker A20-6XL: This motor takes 1 - 3x10x4 bearing, SMR103-ZZ: http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.as...79&n=SMR103-ZZ and 1 - 3x8x4 bearing, SMR693-ZZ: http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.as...92&n=SMR693-ZZ By tomorrow I will have a kit up on our web, kit #BMK-035. However, don't know if yours will be the same. Hacker has a wide variety of different app motors. The A20-6XL has the 3.17mm shaft and is identical in dimensions to the 3500Kv model, (a20-?) but was specifically engineered for the 450 heli with a different turn count. |

I got an email reply from Aero-Model. They said to fill and print a form they sent to me. Send it back to them with a copy of my invoice from October and they would test the motor and repair replace whatever was necessary. I even told them it was from Zebra Hobby. Didn't matter to them. Going to pull the motor today and ship it out tomorrow. Thats good service I also ordered a motor from Hobbyking last night. Tunigy SK 63-74-170 to test and have as a back up. For $59 I thought, what the heck, lets give it a try. I have been having good luck with their other motors and ESC's. But I will pull the can and add some thin CA to the magnets. That seems to have been a common complaint with their earlier production runs. We will see how it goes. Never pay again for live sex! | Hot girls doing naughty stuff for free! | Chat for free! |

Re: Hacker Motor service ???? If you decide to do the bearings yourself, contact Boca. I did earlier for the heck of it and they just replied with the bearing numbers and a note they will have the kit listed by tomorrow, (along with that kit #). Pretty quick service from such a large company. |

Re: Hacker Motor service ???? Cougar, I sent them an email last night, just waiting for a reply. I might just pick up the phone in a couple of hours and give them a call. I found my manual for the motor. It states warranty is 24 months. I purchased last October. But what it covers is not stated, just the usual disclaimers. Re: Hacker Motor service ???? Looked for "Hacker". To be honest did not push too hard yet. #1 is still going strong and #2 has not yet gone beyond testing the new installation. Personally, I would recommend their quality and strength to anyone. I'm running the 2500KV A20-6XL in both helis. Bdegan, check the link I posted. I would assume they are open today. |
