Re: Fergus flying

True it is a very impressive heli...won't deny that! I still really like my electrics. Still hoping to get a 700 at some point. Right now the nitro bug has bit. Relly looking forward to getting the Vibe 50 into the air. I have heard nothing but good things about this heli. Just taking my time on the rebuild. Servos are on the way..need a motor and a few frame parts. Hoping to have it up before the end of the season.

Ahh Chris , you have seen my little NX4 zip through the air ? Then once I am done my 10min flight I just fill er up with 15% nitro and go again ! Very impressed with the power to weight ratio and fuel economy of this bird ! The only lipo I have to charge is the flight pack every 4-5 flights or so... So if I have two flight packs I could literally fly all day !

Yes electric is cleaner , but I think nitro is way more efficient on the smaller 50 size heli's and the OS37 is awesome !!

Much appreciated , alot to do before the Aug funfly! Will rally the troops , the guys have been great and everyone is trying to pitch in with recruiting businesses to donate, lend equip etc... Looks like we are going to get some solid support from a few online vendors... Really working hard to put this all together...

Cheers !

Re: Fergus flying

I really can't complain right now. The summer is looking good as I'm working close to the house for now. The nature of work out this way is being away in a camp with a week off a month or something along those lines. This job won't last though I'm just supposed to be summer relief.

I finished the 600 Trex and she was a beauty until someone didn't loctite the ball in the tail lever. Haha. It happen at the funfly last week and I got a MAAC hat and badge for best heli crash! (Only heli crash) MAAC VP was their and was very impressed with our turnout! We had people comin and goin all day just to watch! Lots of fun to be with a very active club.

I really wish I talked to the spectators that were recording the flights with their phones. Never got any vid.

You went nitro? Call off the wedding! She is going to hate the mess! Just stay off the dining room table. Haha

Great to hear from you guys. Oh there is a ad on here at the top of the page. "Dude I Want That" scroll through and check out the zombie sheets for Christie's bed! Margaret thought she would love them.

Cheers and good luck with the Vibe!

Stew!! Your alike and kicking!! lol How are things on the west side? Any new helis? Sorry I haven't been in contact with you as of recent. Work has been just over the top here. 12-13 hour days mostly...but been able to get a little flying in here and there. Got another heli.....this time its a JR Vibe 50! Recieved it from Dan. Needs a bit of work but hoping to have it up before the end of the season. Again how are things going out there?
