This way, I get maximum power transfer and an ultra-clean set-up with only 1 wire in the plane and eliminate all possibility of something unplugging or a bad connection.

Sounds like an excellent way to go and much cheaper, guess I'll have to go to Thunderbolt's website and see what I need to order. Thanks for the input Trev.

Re: **NEW** 50cc Pilot Yak55M / 3W55xiCS

Congrats Ed!! Love the scheme you picked out!!

Ya... I've been a diehard JR fan for 10+ years (still love JR) - it's the SBUS system that made me switch to Orange, LOL. It's soo simple, saves weight and confirms all my testing a few years back with the EagleTree Data Logger. It's a risky move on Futaba's part because if goes against all the marketing hype about power expanders and current capacity in our wiring, and is likely why I really love it, LOL!!

Ha Trev, I just finished watching all the videos on Futaba's site about this S-bus stuff and it totally amazed me, just when I thought I had an excellent radio system they come out with this. It sure is an awesome system. Didn't realize Futaba came out with this two years ago.

Well I gave up on trying to get my Krill so I just ordered a new custom scheme 50cc Yak 55M from Tony to add along side my other Pilot Yak 54. Will post pics when it arrives, this will be an electric powered project. Here are some pics of the scheme.

I got the graphics installed last night

Eric !!!!

We're heading out to fly today!!... I leaned out the 3W, added 1 oz of weight in the tail to offset those heavy skis, and charged the batteries

Hey Ed. Only the 100cc and 150cc versions have the pocket style hinging... the 50cc version does not.
