Re: Liftoff Racing Quad Sim

Are you guys still using this sim?

There isn't much for FPV racing around her but if the physics are good I may get it.

Re: Liftoff Racing Quad Sim

I'm heading to Vegas on the 7th of Jan for the Zappos quad race at their headquarters in Vegas. The CES show is going on at the same time. Greg from Fatshark will be their and I believe he will have a both demoing the flight sim, with his goggles of course. Should be a good time. Ready for the 2016 race season

Re: Liftoff Racing Quad Sim

I spent a lot of time using sims to learn 3d planes.
I just started quads, can fly ok, but the proximity stuff looks really cool.
I can say that in a couple hrs on liftoff, my proximity flying skill, really improved
And who knows how much time and money in crashes! Sure it's already paid off 20 times what I paid! Lol

Liftoff Racing Quad Sim

Anybody else tried the pre-release of Liftoff?

I bought and installed it the other day.
Graphics are good.
Physics are as good as any flight sim I have played.
It's got some issues but its pre-release so you have to accept that.
Had a couple hangs, but never when flying, happen once in awhile on a crash.
Calibrating my controller took awhile.
I got my Realflight Interlink tx working.

Paid $22cdn. Spent a couple hrs flying.
So far, it's been great practice and a good deal.
Really looking forward to where it goes in the future.
