Re: Binding problem with AR8000 receiver

Ok, every once in awhile, I'm a dummy. The AR8000 has the plug in polarity reversed compared to all the other Spektrum receivers. Go figure ........ The chap at the hobby shop simple plugged in a battery and everything worked. He said it's a common oops. Well, I figured I'd throw him some business, both another AR8000, gave me a deal on the cost, $99.00 from the regular $129.00

Re: Binding problem with AR8000 receiver

hope it works
also i was useing only a 3 amp align reg from 7.4 to 5.8 volt with a 3gx and 610 and a 620 tail servo
when the 3gx loaded up to do all its checks it would draw to many amps and knock out the receiver and the sats would start to blink
i changed to a 6 amp reg and no problems at all

Are your Rx Tx batteries fully charged. Is your switch hooked up properly.

Binding problem with AR8000 receiver

I have a Spectrum DX8 and trying to bind it to a new AR8000 receiver. Hook up the bind plug, powered it up and neither the led in the receiver or in the satellite will come on. Was able to bind another receiver, no problem.
Anyone provide a suggestion.
