Re: Misfit 210 Help needed...

I am not absolutely sure. I bet most are on rev5. was a pita setting up my rev6 as non-beta Cleanflight did not work with it at the time.

however I like the Airmode on it

Re: Misfit 210 Help needed...

Which Naze32 version are they using? Rev5 or 6?

I have a rev6 on one aircraft. It was OK till I hit a pole real hard. Since then it has been harder to tune. But I just reflashed it with latest betaflight and arimode and it is a bit better.

I am tempted to buy a KISS FC just to see if that will make achieving a perfect tune for radical flying or not. Supposed to be simpler to set up, and is the choice of some top pilots. Albeit the 3 other fellows at our race on monday night all have Naze32, and they have amazing well tuned hyperfast machines.

is this with 3S or 4S?
Looptime in BetaFlight 2.5.4 is fixed at 1000. You can go lower (i.e. 500 for 2K) but you cannot increase it. 4S. Once I got a taste of that there was no turning back. I am wondering if it's the Naze32 Rev 6. I heard of people with similar issues going back to there Rev 5 versions and the problem is fixed.

Re: Misfit 210 Help needed...

Ok so the one issue was sorted out but cant figure out this: I have the same high speed wobble/oscillations as I did with my minion build. Minion has RG 2204 2300kv motors and RG20 escs and dispite trying all PID variations could not get rid of the high throttle wobble.

I built this new quad but with Cobra 2204 2300kv motors and RG20 escs and the exact same thing is happening despite trying stock BetaFlight 2.5.4 PIDs, with TPA up to .80 there is still no difference. The only things my two machines have in common are the Naze32 v6 boards and the RG20 escs.

For the record ESCs are flashed with BLHeli 14.3, synced, motor speed medium, low demag.

Any thoughts on what I am missing and why I can't get rid of the high speed wobble? You can here the motors stuttering. Even tried cutting the I and D by half and just concentrate on the P but again nothing.

Re: Misfit 210 Help needed...

truth is, I am a bit disappointed with my RG12A esc. been happier switching to DYS and littlebees. still have one quad on RG12. and a DYS died on me recently

aw but this hobby changes so fast. there is always some new much better FC or ESC or motor on the market tempting an upgrade!

Re: Misfit 210 Help needed...

Thanks guys. I went over everything again and finally just swapped out the RS2205 race motors. They did not play well with the RG20 escs, or so it seemed. I put the trusted Cobras on and away I went. So many esc and motor combinations out there I guess once in a while there are some compatibility issues. Thanks again for the help!

Simple enough, thanks Scott. I also just noticed that ESC #3 went out of sync for what ever reason even though it was definitely synced earlier . Think I will swap it out tomorrow and see if that was the culprit. Not sure why it would be but I also noticed on the CleanFlight motor screen that all of a sudden motors 1 2 and 4 seem to be rising and descending with my Tx stick. #3 stays considerably lower until full throttle. They are all new ESC's and they are the RotoGeek20's which I have had great luck with. Will know better tomorrow but fingers cross that its something so simple.
