Re: Hellcat Help I just took some pictures of my completed Ziroli Hellcat. I got lazy and decided to use the sticker ByronF sent me since it happened to be the perfect size already. I built it from a Lazer Lizard short kit. It has a ZDZ80 engine, and Sierra Precision retracts. It is covered with polyester dress lining applied with Minwax Polycrylic, and painted with Benjamin Moore exterior latex paint. All up weight is 33 pounds. Hope it lasts past the first flight. |

Re: Hellcat Help I have the original decal from my H9 Hellcat that I did not use which you can have. PM me your address and I will mail it to you. Just to be different I used the image shown in the attachment on my Hellcat as realism was not a big concern to me. |

Hellcat Help I am just about done my Ziroli Hellcat. I did it in the 3 colour blue Navy scheme, number 13. I need to paint the little dog cartoon character on the fuse in front of the cockpit. I noticed the Hanger 9 Hellcat arf is the same version I'm doing, and it comes with this same marking as a decal. Can anyone scan the decal and post it, or email it to me? I'd like to use it as the pattern for painting the mascot on my plane. It would likely have to be enlarged a bit to make it the correct size for my Z-Cat. Any help would be appreciated. |
