Re: 35% Advice

Should have left it alone and it would be ready by now.

Have you picked a scheme yet?

Re: 35% Advice

I feel lazy that I haven't done anything on this plane, so finally its going to get my full attention.
This morning I got my CF landing gear installed. I couldn't believe the difference in weight. Maybe I should replace the pants too with CF. After installing the gear I noticed that one wing sits lower then the other (notice the clamps under it). It needs about ½” under the low side wheel to level it. I don't think I can do anything about it.
I ended up going with the DA100L thanks to you guys, I also feel this will be a better choice.

Trevor, Please share with us what you find with the DA 120 Shaker, LOL, love that name.
Jerry,

That was a regular DA 100 not a DA100L.

I just aqured a 40% with a DA170 on it so should have a 100L for sale shortly. Approx 10 gallons through it.

What's that mounted to the nose of your new Pilot Edge? Why it's a DA120 I see. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Jerry,

Did you decide on an engine yet? I might have a DA100L available.
Ya Jim!!!.. I broke my #1 rule and bought a shaker-DA120 . It's soon ready for fuel, so we'll see if I'm a fan or not in the near future!! Safer choice was DA100L, but I needed some first hand experience with the 120, LOL

A DA100L or DLE111 are no slouches of motors... you'd get some awesome vertical acceleration from a hover... no doubt! Well proven and 100's of videos out there to show you the power they have!

Cheers
